Plate 01 · The Manifesto

For twelve years a contractor; for five an autonomy engineer at a heavy-iron company. The thing both jobs taught me: the work is the work. The photo of the work is its own job, and that second job has been ignored. We built this to honor it — to give people who make real things a place to make their record of it look as considered as the thing itself. Photographs of real work, made useful. Nothing more, nothing less.
